 | About UsWe are located just outside of Vancouver BC nestled in the middle of beautiful ocean views and mountain ranges. We work with , breed, show ,love and own American Bullys. Our dogs are ABKC and or UKC registered. We dont offer many breedings we keep our blood very exclusive and are very selective to the homes our pups go to. We strive for even temperments, healthy, sound dogs. Our dogs are part of our family here and raised with kids of all ages . . ServicesWe offer 1-2 breedings a year at most and those on waiting lists are contacted 1st. To get on the waiting list is free and just need to call or email us your name and contact info. Deposits are due once the pups drop , assuming your approved for ownership. We do occassionally help others when we dont have pups of our own and will on occassion have rescue pups avail as well. Those are all sold on pet contract with spay or neuter required. Rescues do not come with papers but will come with the same health guarantee our pups do.
We are always available for any questions regarding this breed weather its from us or not. We feel to better the breed we need to educate and better the owners 1st. About American Bullys
The American bully came about from breeding the american staffordshire to the show bred UKC american pit bull terrier. Although the 1st dogs were true to this later on in time others have bred in english bulldogs and or corsos or other type of mastiffs into them as well. The american bully has 5 classes Pocket , Classic, Standard, XL and Extreme. To get more info on these classes please see the ABKC site www.ABKC.org.
The ABKC is the only reputable registry that recognizes the American Bully for what they are and offer classes where the American Bully can be shown. The American Bully can have UKC papers recognized as an American Pit Bull Terrier but they do not fit the standard for such and usually end up causing confusion amongst new owners. Any breeder breeding dogs such as razors edge, gotti, GK, monster G, remy ect should be explaining this to there clients so they are not falsley buying into something they arent aware of.
The american bully was bred for show and companionship. They are very versatile and can do events like wieght pulling, agility, swimming, dock diving or conformation and at the same time be perfectly happy sitting at home with you for the day. They are great family pets and love children. They can however carry the same traits the american pitbull terriers carry like DA { dog aggression } or animal aggression and if bringing into a home with multiple pets that should be considered. This will typically kick in at age 1- 2years when there hormones start going . { this is NOT human aggression, human aggression should never be tolerated and is not a trait this dog is bred for}. A good way to deal with DA is by crate training young and crateing them when you have to leave the home or cant supervise. Also avoiding trigger objects like food , feed multiple dogs seperately in there own area and avoid leaving bones out laying around , as well as toys. Your best bet to avoid DA is to have a dog of each sex vs same sex pairs in the home. Not every American bully will show DA in there life but its always good to be prepared and know how to deal with it if it ever comes up.
